In the correlation rows, *denotes a significant correlation in elemental concentration between lichen and the environmental samples at p ≤ 0.05; ‘!’ denotes the significance was tested by a Spearman rank-order correlation analysis; otherwise, it was tested by a Pearson correlation test.
