The inset shows the generation of two effective point sources SA and SB by slightly tilting the end mirror M, where the red solid circle is the focal point of laser beam, representing a point source S, and the two red open circles are the mirror images of the point source S with respect to the SLM and the BS, respectively. Reflection at SLM then BS gives a virtual image of S at SB, while reflection at BS then the mirror M gives a virtual image of S at SA.
