Following laser-induced CNV, OCT was used to measure lesion size in the presence of anti-C5, anti-C5a, or 12B4 (control). OCT images show a decrease in lesion size with treatment of anti-C5 and anti-C5a when compared to control (A). Quantification of these results (B) indicated a nearly 40% decrease in lesion size when injected with anti-C5 and anti-C5a (*P ≤ 0.01). Data shown are average values (±SEM) per lesion (n = 7 animals per condition). Scale bar: 100 pixels or 160 μm.
