The trajectories of two bacteria are shown: one bacterium swims near the surfaces (red) and the other swims in the bulk liquid (yellow). Bottom panel: part of the gravitational water was lost, and the water remaining in the macropore forms layers on the walls; now the bacterium represented by the yellow trajectory cannot swim freely and hits one of the walls.
