Relationships between Fe concentration and particle/floc diameters.
Water samples from the fjord in 2013 show that [FeRP] is a function of primary particle ESD (a) and that floc ESD is a function of [FeRP] (b). Error bars indicate one standard deviation of the mean. [FeRP] decreases with increasing primary particle ESD and floc ESD increases with increasing [FeRP]. The two power regressions are highly significant (p < 0.01).
