Control (Coker) and transgenic GhNAC2 expressing cotton plants (lines L-24 and L-30) were grown in Neopit under well-watered conditions for two months and then subjected to 15 day water stress (water withheld for 15 days) followed by re-watering and root length measured after maturity (5 months 10 days).
