The colour bar indicates the strength of the resulting magnetic flux density (limited to 0.05 T for greater visual clarity), which is much higher around the edges of the disks than at the locations of the π-rings. Whispering gallery modes of varying intensities appear around the elliptical disks as a function of frequency. The maximum field, Bmax is indicated for each frequency.
