Among the 39 cytokines and chemokines analyzed, kinetic changes of five representative chemokines that showed differences in the level and/or kinetics among the patients of different groups, are presented. Gray boxes indicate the average periods of antiviral therapy administered to the patients of each group. The concentrations of IL-8, GRO, and IP-10 are presented in ng/ml and those of RANTES and MIP-1β in pg/ml.
