(C) Cornell Scale for Depression in Dementia (CSDD). (D) Negative affect scale of the Philadelphia Geriatric Centre Affect Rating Scale (PGCARS). Data during the follow-up assessments were divided into three bins for better visualization (<6 months, 6–12 months, and >12 months). P values were obtained using mixed models in which time into the study was included as a continuous variable and subject as a random factor for intercept. Mean values were obtained from all individuals and error bars indicate standard errors (between individuals).
