(A–D) Cat B/D levels were measured in the cytosol/whole lysate by Western blotting and the quantification is shown. (E) Cell viability with 50 μM CA-074-Me (CatB inhibitor) treatment was determined. (F) CatB activity analysis was performed with chemiluminescence detection. (G) AO staining (scale bar = 25 μm) results are shown. After the designated treatments, cells seeded in a 60 mm confocal plate were incubated with 5 mg/ml AO for 30 min at 37 °C. All data are presented as the mean ± SD.
