A high throughput chemical screen reveals resistance of BRCA1-mutant breast cancer cell lines to MEK inhibitors.
(a) A library of 198 FDA-approved and experimental drugs was tested against a panel of BRCA1-mutant (1–4) and BRCA1-wild-type (5–8) cell lines. Relative cell viability was measured using CellTiter-Blue fluorescent metabolic assay after three days of incubation and presented as a heat map of differential drug sensitivity scores (dDSS).
