(A) Western blot analysis was used to detect the transduction efficiency of PFK in HCC cells. Actin served as a loading control. (B–E) PFK siRNA knockdown HCC-LM3 and HepG2 cells were treated with EGCG (100 μM) with or without F2,6BP (10 μM) for 24 h. At the time points indicated, the following measurements were performed: cell proliferation rate (B), lactate production (C), 2-DG uptake (D), western blot analysis of cleaved-caspase 3, cleaved-caspase 8, cleaved-caspase 9 and β-actin (E).
