Effects of SalA on lipid accumulation, oxidative stress and inflammation in PA-treated HepG2 cells.
HepG2 cells were pretreated with SalA (20 μM) for 6 h before exposure to PA (0.5 mM) for another 24 h. (A) Intracellular lipid accumulation was measured by Nile Red staining. (B) Cell supernatant H2O2 levels. (C) The levels of TNF-α and IL-6 in the culture medium were measured by ELISA. (D) Intracellular ROS levels were measured using the fluorescent probe DCFH-DA.
