Determination of specific activity of RimIMtb towards peptide substrates using DTNB assay.

The amount of product (CoASH) generated as a result of acetyl transfer was monitored at 412 nm. The concentration of the product was quantified using CoASH calibration curve (inset) and specific activity of RimIMtb against each substrate plotted in terms of μmoles/mg/min. The results shown here represent mean ± SD of experiments performed in triplicate.
