Min6 cells were transfected with a plasmid encoding STAT3 for 24 h and subsequently treated with RA or glucolipotoxicity, as indicated. (A) The mRNA level of Skp2 was determined by qRT-PCR. Min6 cells were transfected with plasmid encoding Skp2 for 24 h and subsequently treated with (B) RA or (C) glucolipotoxicity, as indicated. Cell extracts were analysed by western blotting with antibodies against STAT3 and Skp2. β-actin was detected as an internal control.
