The top view and side view of four optimized stanene/Ag(111) superstructures: Structures S1 (c), S2 (d), S3 (e), S4 (f). Here purple lines represent the unique patterns of stanene in structures S1 and S2 (c,d) and red lines indicate a typical zigzag direction. The orange, green and black balls represent the Sn atoms on different layers and grey balls represent the Ag atoms in the topmost layer of Ag(111) surface.
