Transport-time estimates (red to blue shading) represent hours of 4mm/hr or greater intensity rainfall. The larger scale inset illustrates transport-time for the San Lorenzo River watershed (outlined in light blue). Transport patterns were simulated using 2010 coastal land use data and the map was created using ArcGIS software version 10.2 (ESRI; http://www.esri.com/software/arcgis/arcgis-for-desktop).
