Groups of BALB/c mice were immunized subcutaneously twice with a tetravalent vaccine (10 μg of each serotype of recombinant lipidated dengue envelope protein domain III) or PBS at a 4-week interval. Serum samples were collected 8 weeks after the first immunization. IgG1, IgG2a, IgG2b, and IgG3 antibodies against D1ED III, D2ED III, D3ED III, and D4ED III were evaluated by ELISA, respectively. Data represent the mean ± standard deviation from total 12 mice of 2 experiments.
