From 1996 to 2011, 354,649 AF patients older than 20 years old were identified from Taiwan’s NHIRD as the study population.
Among the study population, 45,595 and 309,054 patients were defined as Guideline-adherent and Non-adherent groups, respectively. The risk of mortality was analyzed and compared between these two groups.
