Significantly increased TGFB1 gene expression in cattle infected with M. bovis.

RNA was extracted from the blood of the M. bovis infected (n = 5) and healthy control (n = 5) animals. qRT-PCR analysis was carried out and gene expression data is shown as log2 relative expression levels relative to the normalizer gene. A P < 0.05 calculated by Mann-Whitney U test was denoted as being statistically significant.
