FloIT can resolve different types of protein inclusions.
(a) FloIT can resolve inclusions formed by different proteins in N2a cells on the basis of FSC and SSC. Values are means (n = 3) ± SEM. (b) Inclusions containing two different proteins can be detected by FloIT (in this case FUS495X-eGFP and Htt46Q-mCherry). Dual-colour particles containing both fusion proteins are within the quadrant indicated by the red square. (c) Controls for the data shown in (b), including analyses of lysates prepared from untransfected N2a cells (left) and N2a cells transfected to express only Htt46Q-mCherry (middle) or FUS495X-eGFP (right). Each result shown is representative of two or more independent experiments.
