From: Organization of Nucleotides in Different Environments and the Formation of Pre-Polymers

Pre-polymer configurations for two different materials.
Shown are simulation snapshots and sample structures of the pre-polymers for clay and NH4Cl obtained from the simulations. Large AA and UU, only, segments are observed in clay while NH4Cl strongly favors the formation of AU pairs and, therefore, was found to form more uniformly mixed stacks.
