(A) Enrichment of IFNγ signatures in CHB-infected patients. Venn diagram illustrates the number of up-regulated genes in BRB samples and IFN signature genes of hepatocytes. (IFNα ∩ γ) indicates genes commonly induced by both IFNα and IFNγ; IFNγ and IFNα indicate genes induced by IFNα or IFNγ, respectively. The p values of the enrichment were calculated by Fisher’s exact test. DEgenes: Differential expressed genes (B) Enrichment of B cell signatures in CHB-infected patients. The gene signatures of B, NK and T cells were utilized to estimate the enrichment scores of the respective signatures in paired liver biopsy samples.
