PHH were infected with JFH1 (MOI of 2.5) for 6 h and then treated with 50 μM quercetin (JFH1 + Q50 μM), or DMSO as carrier control, for 24 h (a) or 72 h (b,c). (a) Cells were lysed for quantification of negative-strand HCV RNA. (b,c) Culture supernatant were collected for determination of extracellular HCV RNA level and infectivity titer, respectively. Results are expressed as percentage of carrier control. Data are presented as the mean values ± SD obtained from two to three independent experiments.
