Confocal images of AuNCs in TJs of MDCK layers after EDTA treatment (0.5 mmol/L) for 30 min at 25 °C.

The concentrations of AuNCs were 1 mg/mL for AuNC@BSA (A) and 0.8 mg/mL for AuNC@GSH (B). Ch1 denote cell autofluorescence with λ_Ex/Em of 488/520 nm.
