Pattern of clinal variations in hindwing shape.

The numbers in the picture identify the populations, the different colors indicate that the 39 populations identified 4 groups based on a cluster analysis of PC1 from the hindwing shape data. Thin-plate spline analysis results are shown by the wing profile, which represents the deformations in wing shape in extreme conditions for each PC. The upper right corner of the figure shows 4 groups distributed on a map of China based on a cluster analysis. The lower right corner of the figure shows the variance explained by each PC.
