From: Magneto-Optical Study of Defect Induced Sharp Photoluminescence in LaAlO3 and SrTiO3
(a,b) Shows the variation of PL peak position with temperature for LaAlO3 and SrTiO3. The LaAlO3 peaks show a conventional red shift up to 1 nm with increasing temperature while the SrTiO3 peak behaves anomalously and has a blue shift of approximately 3 nm. Sub-figures (c,d) shows the variation of PL linewidth with temperature for LaAlO3 and SrTiO3. The thermal broadening in case of LaAlO3 is almost 0.3 nm–0.5 nm (for both the twins) and approximately 1.2 nm for SrTiO3.
