Imaging Through Thick Scattering.
(a) Optical setup. A ti:sapphire laser is scattered by a diffuser sheet (D) to make a distant point source that is used to illuminate the mask. The mask is adjacent to the 15 mm tissue phantom which is imaged with a streak camera. (b) Schematic of the diffusion process inside the tissue phantom. (c) The optical setup captures the time dependent distorted signal of the mask. Each frame corresponds to a different arrival time of the distorted signal. Using API the mask is recovered.
