Reduction of β3-AR reduces the protective effects of nebivolol on mitochondrial dysfunction.
(A) Blockade of β3AR suppresses the expression of palmitate-induced mitochondrial ROS production. (B) After infection with the shRNA, H9C2 were pre-treated with nebivolol (10 μM) for 1 h, followed by stimulation with palmitate for 16h. PGC-1a, NRF1 and TFAM mRNA levels were anyalyzed by qRT-PCR. (C) Cell lysates were analysed by western blotting with antibodies against β-actin, ATG7 and LC3B, representative Western blot images of β-actin, ATG7 and LC3B, (D) Quantification of protein expression.
