(a) The qRT-PCR analysis of synthetic genes in transgenic seeds from 3 constructs. (be) shows the content (percentage) of lysine (b), threonine (c), total amino acids (d) and crude protein (e) in 5 independent transgenic plants. Matured seeds were dried at 37 °C for 3 days and were then subjected to amino acid and protein measurement. Asterisks “*” and “**” indicate significant differences at P < 0.05 and P < 0.01, respectively.
