(a) Four-level switch of αE. (b) Eight-level switch of αE. A reset step with +4 kVcm−1 E pulse is performed to refresh the initial state to +Ps before a selective -E pulse is applied to reach different levels of αE. Each E pulse lasts for 1 s.
