Kinetics of cisplatin distribution measured using monoisotopic cisplatin.

Tumor-bearing mice were treated with 194Pt-cisplatin on Day 1, 196Pt-cisplatin on Day 5, and sacrificed on Day 6. The images are of a single tissue section showing the relative distribution and abundance of the two isotopes (top; grayscale), Pan-Keratin, Collagen I and Histone H3 vs Pt (lower panels). The bottom panel shows the two isotopes, with the color intensity indicating the preponderance of 196Pt at this time point. Scale bar = 100 μm.
