Quantification of silica NP associated with chorion and embryo.

Amount of silica (μg) measured by ICP-MS associated with chorions and embryos after exposing fertilized eggs to 20 nm, 50 nm and 80 nm silica NPs at a concentration of 200 mg/l from 4hpf to 24hpf. A group of 50 fertilized eggs was used per condition. Data represent the means and standard deviations for at least three biological replicates. (*p < 0.05, **p < 0.01, student t-test).
