Intrahepatic and circulating APOE, A2M, and TNFRSF11B were determined in NAFLD patients and controls.

APOE (A), A2M (C), and TNFRSF11B (E) in the liver tissues from healthy liver donors (left panels, n = 3) and NAFLD (right panels, n = 8) were labelled immunohistochemically. The quantification of APOE (B, p < 0.001), A2M (D, p < 0.001), and TNFRSF11B (F, p < 0.001) were also presented. Circulating levels of APOE (G, p < 0.05), A2M (H, p < 0.05), and TNFRSF11B (I, p < 0.001) in NAFLD patients (n = 50) and HCs (n = 40) were verified by ELISA.
