Transwell assay.

The migrated number of HUVECs co-cultured with the LV-SH-BMP2-transfected Hep G2 is significantly decreased as compared with those of HUVECs co-cultured with LV-SH-CON-transfected Hep G2 or untransfected Hep G2 (CON) (all P < 0.05). By contrast, HUVEC migratory ability is significantly enhanced after co-cultured with overexpression-LV-BMP2 Hep G2 (P < 0.05). Notes: BMP-2: Bone morphogenetic protein 2; HUVEC: human umbilical vein endothelial cell; LV-SH-BMP2: lentivirus vectors expressing small hairpin RNA against BMP-2 gene. *Indicates P < 0.05 as compared with other groups.
