Living/dead cells by Calcein-AM/PI staining and apoptosis assay.

(a) Alive cells were stained by green Calcein, while dead cells were stained by red PI. (b) Apoptotic and necrotic cells were labeled by Annexin V (green) and PI (red) respectively, while the nucleus were stained by Hoechst33342 (blue). Fib = fibroblast, Myofib = myofibroblast, R10, R20 and R30 = di-rhamnolipid at concentrations of 10, 20 and 30 mg/L. Scale bar = 20 μm.
