Identification of eRNA-binding proteins associated with pneumococcal wall.
(A) Two hundred fifty μg of cell wall proteins isolated from S. pneumoniae serotype 2 strain (ATCC11733), were resolved using two-dimensional gel electrophoresis. Polyacrylamide gels were simultaneously subjected to Western blotting using biotinylated eRNA (left panel) and to flamingo fluorescent gel stain (right panel).
