(b) All groups showed similar within-day deterioration (day 1 final-initial thresholds), however performance differentiated following consolidation (day 2): Increasing the number of SOAs interfered with between-day consolidation, resulting in increased day 2 discrimination thresholds (relative to day 1 initial thresholds).
