Primary rims surrounding ablated area are shown by black horizontal arrows. The rims surrounding the secondary craters appearing inside the primary ones are marked by vertical arrows. An outer rim which is observed at energies above 100 J/cm2 far beyond the laser irradiated area (marked by empty arrows at the bottom figure) is attributed to the air plasma reemission effect.
