H3K4K27me3 is dynamically regulated and differentially expressed throughout stem cell differentiation. (A and B) Nuclei of seven different distinct cellular phenotypes were immunocytochemically labeled for H3K4me3 (green) and H3K27me3 (red) and imaged with a LSCM G-STED. All images are 30 × 30 μm. (C and D) Quantitative texture descriptors of H3K4K27me3 organizational expression were extracted from these images and subsequently analyzed via PCA, which reveals the ability to clearly classify each different cellular phenotype from each other based on H3K4K27me3 textural expression with 100% sensitivity and specificity.
