LR12 reduced mortality and lung pathological changes in LPS-induced ALI mice.

Mice were treated with saline, LR12 (5 mg/kg) and LRS (5 mg/kg) intravenous injection, respectively. Two hours later, mice were given either saline or a lethal dose of LPS (20 mg/kg, i.t.) to monitor survival (n = 20) every 12 h for 3 days (a), or a sub-lethal dose of LPS (5 mg/kg, i.t.) for 6 h to detect the lung histopathological change by H&E staining (b, Bar = 100 μm) and lung inflammation score (c, n = 4–7). Data are expressed as the mean ± SEM. **P < 0.01 vs Control group, #P < 0.05 vs LRS+LPS group.
