LR12 reduced lung permeability and damage in mice induced by LPS.

Mice received saline, LR12 (5 mg/kg) and LRS (5 mg/kg) intravenous injection, respectively. Two hours later, mice were treated with either saline or LPS (5 mg/kg, i.t.) for 6 h. Lung W/D weight ratio (a), total protein in BALF (b) were measured to determine lung permeability. LDH activity in BALF (c) and serum (d) was determined to assess lung damage. (n = 4–7). Data are expressed as the mean ± SEM. *P < 0.05 and **P < 0.01 vs Control group, #P < 0.05 and ##P < 0.01 vs LRS+LPS group.
