LR12 inhibited the expression and secretion of IL-1β in LPS-treated mice.
Mice received saline, LR12 (5 mg/kg) and LRS (5 mg/kg) intravenous injection, respectively. Two hours later, mice were treated with either saline or LPS (5 mg/kg, i.t.) for 6 h. The mRNA expression of pro-IL-1β (a) was determined by Real-time PCR, and the concentration of IL-1β in BALF (b) and serum (c) were detected by ELISA. The protein level of pro-IL-1β (d and e) and IL-1β p17 (d and f) in the lung homogenate was assessed by Western blot. β-actin was used as an internal control. (n = 4–7).
