The porosity of the gig-lox TiO2 layer is maintained even after annealing at 500 °C, while in the ppg TiO2 layer a dramatic pore shrinkage is observed after the same thermal treatment. Note also: (1) the double plasma regime used in gig-lox; (2) the double range porosity (nano and meso) achieved in gig-lox.
