Effect of peri-sciatic vehicle (), 0.25 mg/rat ProTX-II () (A,B) or 1.4 mg/rat JNJ63955918 () (C,D) on thermal withdrawal latencies of ipsilateral (A,C) and contralateral limbs (B,D). Comparison with a 2-way ANOVA with Bonferroni multiple comparisons across time and treatment revealed a statistically significant increase at 15 and 30 min for ProTX-II compared to vehicle, and at 15–240 min for JNJ63955918 compared to vehicle in the ipsilateral limb. Contralateral latencies were statistically increased from 30 min through 2 h by JNJ63955918 only.
