THP-1 macrophages were treated with 3a, 6b or 7c at concentrations equal to their MICs for 24 h at 37 °C. Culture supernatants were analyzed for cytokines. Data represents the mean ± SEM of triplicate samples (n = 3). Blank: No inhibitor was added. DMSO (<0.05%), *out of range below the detection limit.
