Significantly higher ROS production was observed in PVN compared to HVN (****p < 0.0001). Co-incubation of HVN with PVP conferred a heightened ROS phenotype (****p < 0.0001). Conversely, co-incubation of PVN with HVP attenuated the heightened ROS phenotype (****p < 0.0001).
