Figure 2

(A) The knockdown efficiency of ITGB4 by qRT-PCR analysis, the ratios of sh1-ITGB4, sh2-ITGB4 and sh3-ITGB4 were approximately 0.61, 0.46 and 0.58 compared with scrambled siRNA (SCR). **p < 0.01, ***p < 0.001. (B) ITGB4 shRNA was stably expressed in the MHCC-97H and MHCC-LM3 cell lines, and cell viability was assessed using the MTT assay, and showed significantly lower rates of cell proliferation compared with negative control (NC). (C) Colony forming ability decreased in cells treated with shITGB4, which was determined by crystal violet staining and quantified by counting the number of colonies. (D) Compared with negative control, invasive ability of shITGB4-transduced cells was also decreased determined by the Transwell assay and quantified after 24 h, respectively. *P < 0.05, **P < 0.01.
