Dendritic cells were treated with HD antigen (100 μg/mL) 24 h prior to treatment with IL-4 (20 ng/mL) and LPS (1 μg/mL). Levels of IL-12p40 and IL-10 were assessed in the supernatants by ELISA 24 hours post stimulation of BMDCs with LPS and depicted as proportions of LPS-induced IL-12 (A; n = 8 from 2 experiments) and IL-10 (B; n = 4 from 1 experiment). Data are shown as mean ± SEM; one-sample, two-tailed t-test to hypothetical mean of 100; *p ≤ 0.05; **p ≤ 0.01, ***p ≤ 0.001.
