(A) the parent virus A/chicken/Hubei/327/2004/H5N1 with 20 amino acids deletion from 49th to 68th in NA stalk-motif (designated as rNA-wt) and mutant NA stalkless virus (designed rSD20) were chose for the proteomic study. (B) Workflow of the experiment. (C) The CPE of infected CEF cells at 24 hpi was showed and the percentage of cells infected by virus was shown using immunocytochemistry for the viral nucleoprotein after fixation, NP = green; nuclei = blue. (D) Cells were infected at 106EID50 and supernatants were collected and titered for progeny virus production by standard plaque assay at indicated time points.
